Broken Promises and Inadequate Care Moving my father to Atria Cutter Mill in July 2025 was a disaster. Upon arrival, no medical staff examined him for over a week despite promises to see him, leading to hospital transports due to their inability to provide medication. The promised two-week chaperone never appeared, and he wandered halls for two hours his first night trying to find his room. His apartment was filthy: false nails on floors, weeks-old trash, bathroom was never cleaned. Maintenance admitted it was dirty then hung up on me. A delivered coffee table sat unassembled for two months. Laundry remained undone despite it supposed to be done weekly. Beyond the monthly fees, I was forced to pay for 24 hour mandatory private aides - due to a disassociative episode, which was non-negotiable even after he improved. Staff rarely returned calls and stopped communicating once they mandated memory care (which he didn't need). Care assessments were quarterly, not "as needed" as advertised. Atria failed to provide basic services while demanding excessive payments. Avoid this facility.

Looking at this location for my parents. They arranged for a tour within 1 days notice. The tour was impeccably done and myself and an associate were met with a 5 star comprehensive presentation that was warm, detailed and felt very genuine. Jane, who gave the tour, could not be more welcoming and nice. The facility was also recommended by a friend who had a relative here and he was boasting how he would like to live there as it was so nice. The facility definitely was incredibly clean and staff were all very nice and also welcoming. The amenities they offer are plentiful and the management really seem to care for the residents well. Some passerby residents also had wonderful things to say about the facility which was also great to hear. Great location as well and it has a very upscale feel to it from the moment you walk in.

My Mom has now been at Atria Cutter Mill for about 10 weeks and so far she has acclimated well and met new friends. She stays busy with the variety of weekly events and activities offered. She is also glad that there are 3 meals offered everyday. So far the move to Atria seems to have been a good decision. Recommend.

After years of searching for the right assisted living community for our 97-year-old mother, we chose Atria, and it has exceeded all our expectations. The staff’s professionalism, warmth, and genuine care made the transition seamless, despite our mother’s strong resistance to change. Their supportive approach has helped her thrive—she’s already dining in the community room and forming new friendships, milestones we never anticipated. Atria’s exceptional team has truly transformed our mother’s quality of life, and we’re deeply grateful for their dedication.
