Our family has had a truly wonderful experience with Atria Bethlehem. From the very beginning, the staff went above and beyond to make my mom feel like she wasn’t just moving into a residence—but becoming part of the Atria family. Alyssa, Dorine, and Todd have been especially kind, patient, and understanding throughout the entire process. They took the time to answer every question, ease our concerns, and make sure my mom felt comfortable, welcomed, and cared for. Their compassion and professionalism made what could have been a stressful transition into a smooth and reassuring experience. It’s clear that the team at Atria truly cares about their residents, treating them with dignity, warmth, and respect every day. Knowing my mom is surrounded by people who genuinely look out for her well-being gives our family great peace of mind. We are very grateful for the support and heartfelt care provided by everyone at Atria Bethlehem and would highly recommend this community to other families looking for a place where their loved ones will feel valued and at home. Do not leave your family members here—avoid this place at all costs. My mother’s time at this facility has been nothing short of a complete nightmare, especially considering we pay nearly $8,000 a month for her care. The quality here is completely unacceptable and dangerous. The property is filthy, stained, covered in animal poop outside, and constantly smells like urine. Even worse, my mother’s room developed a massive infestation of ants and roaches, and she has suffered from repeated bug bites at her age, which is heartbreaking and disgusting. The building is structurally falling apart and poorly maintained. The toilet consistently floods, and the elevator is always breaking down, which is a terrifying life-or-death hazard if a medical emergency ever happens. During the winter, they fail to shovel or salt, leaving massive amounts of ice that create deadly trip hazards for the elderly. The Maintenance Director Tim seems to know nothing about how to actually fix repairs and always greets you with a nasty attitude. The management and staff are equally disappointing. The administrator, Alyssa, is completely unqualified, consistently dishonest, and treats my mother like she is stupid. The kitchen servers are incredibly rude, and my mother's personal belongings and clothes are constantly stolen or lost by laundry. I have had to repeatedly hound Renee about missing items that were taken and never returned. The housekeeping department is completely understaffed, and the remaining workers do a terrible job in house keeping. There for the ones that are a gem are highly mistreated, which is shameful The only saving grace to this entire place is Hanna and Brandy in wellness. They are the only positive, caring people we ran into, but they are constantly exhausted and overworked because poor management cannot retain employees. Paying premium pricing should guarantee premium care, but this place provides a sub-standard, toxic environment. Save your money and protect your loved ones by looking elsewhere.

My mom has been at Atria approximate 6 years and it has been a great experience. Alyssa ( Director) and Crystal ( Nursing Head) are never " too busy " ( and they are busy) to listen to family. My brother and I are extremely grateful to ALL for the care and love that has been extended to my mom. I highly recommend this facility !!!

Atria of Bethlehem is THE finest senior living community we have ever encountered. AND we viewed many! As you step through the front door, we are greeted by an atmosphere of warmth, dignity, and genuine care that sets this facility apart from others. Our uncle's apartment is very comfortable and it maintains modern heating, air conditioning, a well-equipped kitchenette and full bathroom. We so appreciate the personalized and outstanding support he receives 24/7 from the exceptional staff! The caregivers, nurses, and activity coordinators are not only highly trained and professional- but also deeply compassionate. They treat residents like family, responding promptly to their needs with patience, respect, and a smile! Our Uncle was a professional bowler in his day. Atria actually created bowling games when our Uncle requested them! Cheryl- the Activities Coordinator created an actual bowling alley facility and Sal is able to bowl and play Wii bowling a few times every week! Recreation and wellness programs are engaging. From fitness classes, gardening clubs, live music performances, educational lectures, and exciting outings. There is something meaningful for every interest and ability level. The sense of community is real. Upon returning from a doctor's appointment, we turned into the private road leading to Atria- and our Uncle said, "I'm back home." As we reentered Atria, we all were greeted with friendly smiles. We have peace of mind knowing our loved one is happy and secure at Atria of Bethlehem and that he is in such capable hands. The positive energy and respectful environment gives us peace of mind every hour of every day. From restaurant-style meals featuring fresh, nutritious, and delicious options with plenty of variety and accommodations for special dietary needs to the nursing staff who knows our Uncle and his considerable medical needs, Atria gets a 10+ rating from us!
