Memory Care
Memory care communities offer specialized care and support for individuals dealing with memory-related conditions, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia. These facilities are equipped with trained staff and offer engaging activities designed to promote well-being while ensuring a safe living environment.
Respite Care
Respite care is short-term or temporary care. Respite care can be provided in adult day centers, in private homes via home health agencies and in senior living communities, most often assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.

So happy and relieved to have found Ashley Gardens. So warm and welcoming. The grounds are enchanting, with a limit of 10 residents per unit, each unit with its own 24/7 staff. The administrative staff has been tirelessly helpful in guiding me through the introduction, tour and paperwork during this trying time. I was hooked from the first minute, and knew this was the perfect environment, that would provide so much more than just a bed and nursing care. I confess that in some areas I was totally unprepared and they stepped in and guided me to the necessary resources and answers. The happy surprise was that he appeared to be instantly happy and comfortable, from the transport on the Ashley Gardens bus (so cute), to finally being in a place he could call home after the long and trying months, which was such a comfort to me after months look for just the right place, and one that we could afford. Ashley Gardens fits so perfectly for both of us. I have actually been invited to eat with the residents 3 times and I can attest to an excellent experience. The cook for this unit is exceptional and tireless, providing real "down home" cooking every day, focusing on fresh foods rather than canned or frozen. I am so happy and relieved. A well-rounded environment, planned daily activities, nourishing and tasty meals and a happy and energetic care team make this such a positive experience after many years with me being the at-home caregiver in a situation that suddenly had gotten beyond my capabilities. So relieved, happy and grateful.

It is a most difficult decision to make, placing a loved one in a facility such as Ashley Gardens. No matter how nice the facility, how caring the staff is and the services they provide this is not what you had hoped for - for your loved one and for you personally. Ashley Gardens ranked high in all these factors. But the one thing that stood out the most for our family and still does to this day is the support by one special person. Leslie Pelch was most understanding and helpful with all the enrollment procedures and requirements. On the first day of residence she was outside, waiting for Marilyn with a smile and open arms. Her welcome and friendly attitude helped Marilyn overcome those first few hours of fear and hesitancy. Later that day, when her son and I left we felt comfortable that this was the right "home" for Marilyn at this time in her life. To this day whenever you see Leslie she always has a big smile on her face, a happiness in her voice and a welcoming and loving attitude towards all. Not to diminish any of the many other wonderful staff members/care givers at Ashley Gardens but Leslie in those first days could not have done anything more to make the decision and move the best one for all.

Everyone involved in helping us navigate moving my mother into Ashley Gardens have been amazing. Every question has been patiently and respectively answered. Vanessa inquired of some of my mother's favorites and had cookies, root beer and a throw blanket to greet Mom when she arrived. Hannah graciously helped with all the paperwork to be filled out which was so appreciated. Mom has only been at Ashley Gardens for two days however the daily reports of how well she is doing (as we stay away to let her acclimate to her new environment) are very much valued by our family. The Ashley Gardens "Team" has made this difficulty transition for our family as smooth and easy as possible. We have only met her very caring and efficient nurse, Brandon and we can't wait to meet the rest of Mom's "team" when we begin to visit her in her new home.

I loved Ashley’s flexibility, private rooms, good food. However, when I picked my parent up to take home she was in her room, feces on the floor, her shirt, the bed. I have no idea how long she was like that. Very upsetting and disturbing.
