The staff was tremendous at listening to our concerns and are continuing to provide quality service to my mother during her stay. The care plan nurse (believe her name was Heather) was very knowledgeable and helpful as well. Would recommend to other friends and family!

Experienced this place two different times. Once with my father after he had hip surgery. Then a different time with my father in law after a fall. Both times it would be HOURS before anyone would come help them get up to use the restroom. It’s undignified to have a grown person sit in their waste, desperately asking for help and no one comes. In the stress of knowing they don’t get timely help, I came to stay for hours at a time to make sure they had someone assisting and advocating. Imagine my surprise when I, unknowingly, took a cookie from a snack area they had near the dining room. I’d seen people go up and grab various snacks so I thought it was there for visitors. Proceeded to get scolded by staff member for taking ONE cookie. Tell you what, Via Christi, why don’t you spend the THOUSANDS of dollar we pay DAILY to treat yourselves to training on not being so petty? Or to learn more about how to properly staff? Maybe then I’ll bring you a whole box of cookies so you won’t get your cheapo panties in a bunch since that seems to be the thing that gets your attention more than patient dignity and care.

My review is for Villa Christi Village Ridge skilled nursing/rehab only. In my humble opinion this is not a safe or friendly environment. I can confirm that when my mom rang for help she would wait a minimum 45 minutes for someone to even show up. Even when I was there with her. I can go on about other issues but I will stick to facts. There was an incident and I was never contacted. My mom was in severe pain, short of breath and had to lay there and scream for help I found out through my mom that night. The next day, when I was there, she was in severe pain, again, could not catch her breath, I begged the nurse to call 911. She asked why. I said my mom needs to be assessed. She said she was assessing her, I said no, she needs to go to the hospital. The nurse said what do you think they will do. I said they will check her out and see what she needs. That lady looked ar me and said said yeah, they probably will, but they will just bring her back here. I called everyone i could think of for help. Her doctor, cardiologist, even insurance. Thank God someone listened and needless to say, my mom is currently in coronary icu at St Francis. I'm so mad at myself for choosing this place for her. Please do your due diligence when making a decision for yourself or a family member. And do not choose this place. I do not write poor reviews but this one earned my review. Update to response from owner: I believe if you would actually want to look into what happened/happens there and take corrective actions, you would reach out to me. Asking me to contact someone there clearly shows me the lack of interest and care you have in your facility. And it is also clear you do not want to even try to make this facility safe or even hold the employees to a higher standard and that to me is very sad and very scary. My review was pretty serious and it is not the first of its kind that has been posted in the last few years. I hope things change for the better. I really had high hopes for your facility. Now all I have is horrible memories.
