My review is for Villa Christi Village Ridge skilled nursing/rehab only. In my humble opinion this is not a safe or friendly environment. I can confirm that when my mom rang for help she would wait a minimum 45 minutes for someone to even show up. Even when I was there with her. I can go on about other issues but I will stick to facts. There was an incident and I was never contacted. My mom was in severe pain, short of breath and had to lay there and scream for help I found out through my mom that night. The next day, when I was there, she was in severe pain, again, could not catch her breath, I begged the nurse to call 911. She asked why. I said my mom needs to be assessed. She said she was assessing her, I said no, she needs to go to the hospital. The nurse said what do you think they will do. I said they will check her out and see what she needs. That lady looked ar me and said said yeah, they probably will, but they will just bring her back here. I called everyone i could think of for help. Her doctor, cardiologist, even insurance. Thank God someone listened and needless to say, my mom is currently in coronary icu at St Francis. I'm so mad at myself for choosing this place for her. Please do your due diligence when making a decision for yourself or a family member. And do not choose this place. I do not write poor reviews but this one earned my review. Update to response from owner: I believe if you would actually want to look into what happened/happens there and take corrective actions, you would reach out to me. Asking me to contact someone there clearly shows me the lack of interest and care you have in your facility. And it is also clear you do not want to even try to make this facility safe or even hold the employees to a higher standard and that to me is very sad and very scary. My review was pretty serious and it is not the first of its kind that has been posted in the last few years. I hope things change for the better. I really had high hopes for your facility. Now all I have is horrible memories.

My personal review of Ascension Via Christian Villiage at 3636 North Ridge Road. I did not read past the positive superlatives and deeply regret it. I have 3 concerns and will discuss them as follows: 1. The atmosphere is FAR from Christian and severely lacks a healing environment. 2. I should NEVER need to ask that a technician be excluded from my care. The technician was painfully abusive (surgically repared fractures), coniving, enlisted a willing witness. Neither person was focused on protecting my health. My back hurt as a rezulrt. 3. The cleanliess of my personal care was basic, but only thorough at FAMILY Medical and Rehab. I showered once in over one (1) months due to a 2nd surgery.
