Arbor Terrace Waugh Chapel

Nicola Hall and team are excellent! We visited and interviewed many facilities in search of a long-term care community for our loved one. On the recommendation of a colleague, I visited Arbor Terrace Waugh Chapel after getting off a plane from the West Coast, just before finalizing arrangements with another facility. Super heroes work here! Nicola Hall, Felicia Aiello, and the Lisa(s) were wonderful! Felicia warmly greeted me when I arrived with luggage in tow. She was filling at the front at the time. I was unaware there was a hotel next door, which led to a funny conversation about me 'checking in.' When no one else was available, she took me on a tour where I learned about their neighborhoods and the innovative Bridge program. I was so impressed, I returned the following day. That is when I met a superhero, Sales Director Nicola Hall. She was on her day off, but dropped everything to speak with me at the community that afternoon as I returned to the airport. She was professional, kind, and thorough, and I didn't feel like I was being sold. I felt welcome and left believing that our loved one would be well cared for. After another tour with my wife, we canceled our prior arrangement with the other facility and immediately returned with our deposit for Arbor Terrace. Nicola quickly set everything in motion and was consistently available throughout the process to help us in this move. She cares about families. Thank you! We look forward to our loved one experiencing the cleanliness and high quality we've observed in the community, as well as continuing communication with us. The expert and energetic care teams are a great advantage! The onboarding process went smoothly. We encourage the community to sustain the expertise and care provided by the Evergreen team lead and members we met—Kayrn, Nancy, the Lindas, and Ava, and continue strong engagement with the residents.

My mother lived at Arbor Terrace Waugh Chapel for about 6 months in assisted living. We recently moved her to another facility because our experience at Arbor Terrace was so negative. There are a number of issues there that would prevent me from recommending it. First, the good - the facility is on the newer side, and it basically feels like a hotel. That's both good and bad - everything is clean and new, but it also has no personality. I understand that's fairly standard for these facilities. The dining staff were very kind and her room was well-laid out. Beyond that, the experience was plain bad. Staff turnover was high and consistent. Communication was awful and we did not get responses or updates regarding issues unless sent in writing via email. Even then, staff was rarely trained in basic customer service and issues were not fully addressed, validated, or resolved. Things like - my mom not being administered her medication reliably, being told that the staff would clean her room regularly and empty her fridge, but then coming to visit and finding her apartment dirty, full of dust bunnies and rotten food in the fridge. At the same time, her credit card was stolen by staff THREE TIMES and Arbor Terrace did nothing but encourage us (after we emailed them about our concerns) to file a police report. Additionally, there is virtually no outdoor space and the building is adjacent to a busy road and shopping center. Activities were meager. Arbor Terrace frequently felt empty, dead, and staff unresponsive or plain nowhere to be found. We never really were clear on who to contact about issues, and frequently they did not respond to emails, phone calls, or voicemails. I would never recommend this facility. Mom is in a much better place that has more community involvement, more outdoor space, more activities, better peer support, and better employee retention. There is much better out there, keep looking.

Arbor Terrace Waugh Chapel is a beautiful community that’s clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The staff are caring, attentive, and genuinely go above and beyond for the residents. They treat everyone with kindness and respect, which gives families real peace of mind. Overall, it’s a warm, supportive environment that truly feels like home.

This senior care home is absolutely outstanding. The facility is always spotless and well-maintained, which immediately gives you peace of mind. The front desk staff consistently answer the phone with professionalism, politeness, and genuine helpfulness something that really stands out compared to other places. A special mention goes to Mike Kaminski, the manager, who is phenomenal. He truly knows everything you could possibly need to ask about and takes the time to explain it thoroughly. He’s always approachable and willing to help, which speaks volumes about the leadership here. The entire staff radiates positivity you can see the smiles on their faces and know they genuinely enjoy working here. That kind of atmosphere makes a world of difference for both residents and their families. I wholeheartedly recommend this care home to anyone and everyone seeking quality senior care. They go above and beyond in every way.
