Arbor Terrace Asheville Reviews

My visit and tour of Arbor Terrace was delightful. Cathy showed genuine interest in my mother’s needs, gave me a thorough tour and was very generous with the time she spent answering my questions. Arbor Terrace immediately felt like a friendly and warm residence. Lots of activity and the residents all seemed quite happy. There was a cheerful atmosphere that I found lacking in other facilities. It’s an expensive residence, but the atmosphere and level of care provided would make it worthwhile to those who can afford it

My review speaks only to the introductory tour of Arbor Terrace, my first exploration of assisted living. Host Cathy was very open, warm and welcoming. Even the smallest residential room felt spacious and bright. The common spaces promoted both social activities and room for quiet solitude, indoors or out. I could live there.

We visited Arbor Terrace while exploring options for our mom and were very impressed. It felt warm and inviting from the moment we walked in — more like a comfortable apartment setting than a traditional assisted living facility. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the staff we met were friendly and compassionate. The residents all seemed happy and engaged. We left feeling confident that this would be a wonderful place for our mom.

My wife and I helped a neighbor move into Arbor Terrace a few years ago. Since then, I've seen her once a week, when I'm there to teach a chair yoga class. When someone is happy and content ya see it in their face. Thank Goodness. Last visit (9/2/25) I noticed a resident in class I hadn't seen before, while her physical abilities showed decline, her bright joyful face and smile really enlightened the room. 'AT' is a great place for hearts filled with love to sustain that loving-kindness.
