Arbor Terrace Norwood

After touring many local assisted living communities, my mom moved into Arbor Terrace, Norwood, and we are beyond happy with our choice. From the first time we visited Arbor Terrace, we knew it was the right place for my mom. It is a smaller community, which is easy to navigate and not overwhelming. The building is beautifully appointed and extremely clean. The entire staff is warm, and know all the the residents by name. Marissa and Xiomara were readily available answering all of our questions during our decision making process, and still are just a phone call away.

Arbor Terrace in Norwood is a welcoming facility where staff takes care of not only the patients but visitors and anyone who walks through the door. Their smile and caring personalities is heart warming and touching which you don’t see in many facilities. This facility is beautiful , clean, and a perfect place for anyone who needs their care and services provided .

Letter To Arbor Terrace Hi, my name is Bill and I am a Hospice Social Worker having visited over a hundred health care facilities over the past few years. In a time when our health care facilities are notorious for being over worked and under staffed it's rare to come across a facility that can be recommended. Eight months ago I was assigned to over see the care of several patients at Arbor Terrace in Norwood N.J. Immediately I realized the level of treatment and care was above and beyond the norm. But why, why was this facility able to provide the level of treatment and care that should be standard for our countries health care facilities, when others have failed. What made this facility stand out? There’ a saying that No One Is a Success in Life Util they Become Caring and Productive Members of Society. And that there is No Shortage of Talent, but a Shortage of talented who genuinely care. Such care and compassion can be found as soon as you enter the doors of Arbor Terrace and meet with the receptionist Terry who has become like family to many of the residents their guest and the facility staff. Or when you visit the Memory Care Unit and meet with Jonathan the units Med Tech. Or when you meet Margarita and Soledad the most caring facility aids a patient and family could possible as for. Or when you meet with Margery or, Moya, or anyone of the other caring and talented facility staff members who all seem as if they were hand picked by God to be there to help see our loved one through. If only all our countries health care facilities could be as caring. Haven knows we pay enough! And it’s all being directed by Lorie the unit manger and overseen by Jeanelly the facility resident care director. So blessing to the staff of Arbore Terrace at Norwood N.J and its management for making a difference in the lives of our most vulnerable population and their families in providing Gods care ! My mother lived at Arbor Terrace Norwood for four years, and my experience was deeply disappointing. The administration, particularly at the director level, was highly unprofessional, dishonest, and lacked accountability. Communication was consistently poor, and transparency was nonexistent. As my mom’s mental and physical health declined, the monthly costs rose significantly—yet the quality of care dropped dramatically. In the memory care unit, staff were instructed not to engage with family members, and those who showed genuine compassion or raised concerns were often fired or moved to the assisted living side. Even after multiple issues were reported, the corporate office chose to ignore both the inappropriate behavior of the directors and the concerns voiced by front-line caregivers. The corporate culture at The Arbor Company is one of deflection, blame, denial, and dishonesty. If you are looking for a place where your loved one can age in place with dignity, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
