I recently attended a cognitive care training led by Lori, the Memory Care Director at Arbor Terrace, and it was truly outstanding. Her expertise, passion, and ability to explain complex concepts in a way that’s both engaging and easy to understand made the session incredibly valuable. I walked away with practical tools, deeper insight, and a renewed appreciation for quality dementia care. Lori’s dedication to improving the lives of residents and supporting caregivers is inspiring. Over the weekend my mom went to the ER complaining of neck pain. She was admitted overnight based on blood work results that were never really explained. In any event, Terrell contacted me the following morning to check in on her and was so kind and patient as we both tried to navigate her return to Arbor. He made multiple calls to the hospital to check on her condition and ensure he had access to any changes in her medication and kept me in the loop the entire time. When we arrived at Arbor that afternoon, he met my mom at her room and immediately focused on her comfort, paying particular attention to her needs. Then we walked through all the documentation and medication the hospital gave her. I tell you this story because I think Terrell's compassion and commitment to my mom's car is what differentiates Arbor from other places. I never expected that level of high touch and it made a difficult situation more digestible for my mom. Please extend my gratitude to Terrell and the staff for taking care of her. He's one of a kind.
