Had a wonderful afternoon today at Arbor Terrace in Hamilton Mill. We were there to honor one of their residents who is a World War II and Korean War Veteran. Becky, Wagner Arbor Terrace‘s lifestyle Director and her staff coordinated this heartwarming event in the comforting Bistro lounge area. It’s truly amazing to see how much Arbor Terrace does for their residence and veterans. What a beautiful location with such a caring staff. Thank you Becky, for your kindness and hospitality.. We worked with LaTange during our search, and she was instrumental in helping us get my mom moved in quickly during a time when we really needed support. She was knowledgeable, and made what could have been a very overwhelming process feel more manageable. Since moving in, we have been very happy with the community and staff. There are a wide variety of social activities and outings, which has been one of the biggest positives for my mom. It allows her a way to stay engaged, get out, and be part of a community, which was very important to us. The studio apartment is a great size and works well for her needs. The overall environment feels welcoming, and the staff are all very sweet. They make us feel like we are part of a family. One thing to be aware of is that the community currently offers WiFi only. My mom primarily uses the internet for television, and streaming so this required a bit of adjustment for her that at times she still struggles with. Overall, we are very grateful and would recommend this community to other families looking for a place that offers strong social engagement and a caring environment.

Ms Grant and Ms Valerie where very welcoming and helpful. Honestly, probably the best Assisted Living facility in Gwinnett County. It's also priced the highest but you get what you pay for.

I am extremely disappointed with the care my mother received at Arbor Terrace. She was there for only five days, and during that time emergency services were called twice without first contacting her family. From the beginning, we made it clear that we wanted ongoing communication with the memory care staff, but communication only occurred after emergencies had already happened. During my mother's entire stay, the Memory Care Director, Abby, was never present in the building. When concerns were raised, responsibility was placed on my mother, who suffers from dementia, rather than addressing the facility's approach to her care. If she refused medication, staff simply did not administer it and did not appear to explore alternative methods or solutions. Our experience left us feeling that this facility prioritizes business operations over individualized care. If a resident does not easily adapt to Arbor Terrace's methods, it seems they may not receive the support needed to succeed there. If this facility really care for their residents they would call me, instead of sending an automated review reply. They are a business that do not care about their residents. I am writing this review to warn other people that might potentially be looking at this company to take care of their loved one. At the end of the day they do not care they just want your money. They care about the money. After paying approximately $7,000 for a five-day stay, we felt the facility was unwilling to work collaboratively with our family. Following my mother's final trip to the emergency room, Arbor Terrace refused to allow her to return. By that point, based on our experience, we no longer wanted her to return either.
