I am a Lutheran Pastor who has a member of my congregation now living here in a memory unit. I have been truly impressed with the friendliness of the staff to me, cleanliness (and beauty) of the facility, the quality of the food, and the care and professionalism I have witnessed of the trained staff. I have been in MANY retirement homes with all different levels of care. After hearing from my member how good the food was, I would consider housing my own parents here. Go and visit to see for yourself.

I can't say enough good things about the nursing staff at Amira Choice. My husband is in the memory care unit. He has Type 1 diabetes and Parkinsons. He had great difficulty walking, and his blood sugar was out of control when he moved here. The staff was able to get his sugars under control, and after 6 months, he now doesn't always use his walker to get around. His progress is just amazing.

I had a friend who passed away a few years ago she lived at this residence. She experienced poor quality of care. Huge turnovers in staff, when she was injured during a fall the nurse did not notify anyone. The building it’s self looks nice however during meal times the elevator is over crowed and you have to wait for extended periods of time. After she passed I helped close out her estate. The management did not act in good faith when it was time to return the deposit. I was told by many residents about pending lawsuits ( maybe the reason for the name change?). However I do not have proof of this. If you consider choosing this establishment please look into complaints and lawsuits. Also verify how old the carpet is and Know your rights as a tenant upon move out ! They try to charge full market rate for depreciated items.

My mother was in the Enhanced Care section of Amira. I was very pleased with all aspects of her care and all employees were very caring. More importantly, my mother was happy there.
