My father lives at the American House in Troy, Michigan and these are the types of meals they have been serving. Do they really think this is acceptable? For what these people pay to live there this should never happen. Most of the time the food is overcooked or super salty and/or spicy. Not only do the residents pay a high price to live there now they have to spend additional money to buy groceries so they can eat a decent meal. I know that food prices have gone up a lot but these meals are not acceptable. Ever since Lamar the head chef left this is what the current head chef serves. American House you really need to fix this issue ASAP.

My husband and I moved in to the about 4 months ago, in a rushed manner. The move was rough, but the landing was just right. The staff at American House Troy have been wonderful. The administration staff has helped to make our adjustment easy as possible. Maintenance has been very helpful. The food service has surpassed expectations! The housekeeping staff has been excellent. The medical staff has been very helpful. The activity staff provides group activities and personal assistance to make us feel part of an extended family. Everyone is friendly and helpful.
