Patrina Sims and Dave Patek go above and beyond to ensure residents receive high-quality care. The facility is immaculate, with beautifully decorated common areas and cozy private rooms. However, what truly sets American House Town & Country apart is the kindness, empathy, and dedication of its staff. I have witnessed firsthand the extra efforts they make to ensure each resident feels seen, heard, and loved. Their commitment to creating a sense of community and home is truly inspiring. My parents moved into American House during the 3rd quarter of 2025. They are on the Memory Care floor, which was a way for both of them to get the extra care and to live in the same apartment together. Mom took some time getting comfortable, and I credit Patrina, Director of Memory Care, and her staff welcoming my parents to AH, but especially with helping mom to adjust. When I first met Patrina, she gave me her cell phone number. I don’t want to abuse that privilege, but appreciate having that info if I need to reach someone. Patrina interacts with the residents and speaks to them with respect. Patrina included Mom in helping to come up with activities for the group. I have seen Patrina there late on Saturday and Sunday nights helping out when there is a staff shortage. I know she manages Memory Care well. She doesn’t just manage from her office, but pulls equal duty, when necessary. I feel both parents are being well taken care of, which is such a relief for me. There was one incident, though, that concerned me. I was out of town and could not reach my mom by phone. Also, I was not getting her blood sugar readings so considered that her phone may have powered off. This was somewhat of a medical concern, so I called and left a message for the Director of Nursing. I waited for some time. I then texted Patrina. Within minutes she followed up with me and I got a phone call from my mom. This is an example of how Patrina is there for the residents and their family members. To me that was going the extra mile, and I appreciated that.

We can’t say enough positive things about the care and compassion our family has experienced at American House Town and Country. Since my mother in law moved in, the entire staff has gone above and beyond to make her feel safe, cared for, and truly at home. From the very beginning, we were impressed by the warm welcome, great communication, and genuine kindness of everyone we encountered, from the care team and nurses to the dining and leadership team. It's clear that the staff genuinely care about the residents. The level of attention and professionalism has given us such peace of mind. Whether it's making sure medications are managed properly, encouraging activities, or just taking the time to brighten her day. We're incredibly grateful to have found a community that not only meets her needs but also lifts her spirits. Thank you for providing such great care and support.

The activities are engaging, the environment is beautiful and clean, and the overall atmosphere is uplifting.
