American House Southland Reviews

Colleen was the first person I had a welcoming appointment with. She was Very positive and helpful with my mom's transition from townhome to her new apartment living. Cafeteria serves three meals a day. Their activity coordinator Kim tries to keep the residence, engaged and busy. Housekeeping does a nice job keeping the place tidy daily. I feel that it has been a great experience and happy we moved my mother there.

No idea how or why or even if any of these favorable reviews are indeed real. Our family's experience with American House Taylor has been horrific. Insensitive and inattentive staff, unhealthy food and if your loved one goes to the hospital and returns after hours no food at all) and lack of responsiveness. And this is separate from the contract company that is supposedly providing individual health and assisted living services. They're even worse.

My husband and myself just moved to the American House Southland over a week ago Colleen Fields went out of her way trying to make our move go smoother. She works in the office and helped us get the first floor 2 bedroom which we love.

Many thanks to Colleen and staff at the Taylor American House. It's been months since my loved one passed and I still don't know how I would have made it through without the kindness and support of Colleen, Alex, Mike and Gary and all the others on staff. Their patience (believe me they needed it) and gentle spirit with my cousin was very much appreciated. She was not the easiest person to deal with sometimes but working together we were able to help her navigate her new reality - which is often not easy as a person gets older. I would recommend this American House to family and friends.
