I came to Aldersly to do a musical performance. The staff was super helpful in getting me situated and also helping the residents. It was a well attended concert and everyone enjoyed the music. I have played at many retirement communities and memory care facilities and Aldersly had some of the most engaged and interested audience members. They were asking questions and singing along. The buildings are well kept and they even had essential oil diffusers in the room to make it smell wonderful. They had a grand piano in the performance space as well. Great people at a great place.

Very happy with the aesthetics of the facility. Relatively new, clean and very bright and inviting. Loved one is in the memory care unit. The staff is also very warm, helpful and caring. My only issue is that they are sometimes understaffed on the weekends. Appreciate that they have activities and given the staff to resident ratio do a great job. They know the personalities of their residents and accommodate them nicely. The supervisor of the memory care unit, Garmen, is especially kind and caring. Intuitively knows what the residents need and although often restricted with their language is able to understand them. It’s not easy leaving a loved one in a facility such as this, but we feel this is the best place for him and he’s actually gained weight here and is thriving. He entered as a hospice resident but is now a “regular” resident suffering from the advanced stages of Alzheimer’s.

My Mom has been at Aldersly for almost a year. From the beginning when we met Rosanne Angel the salesperson we felt at home. The meals are high quality and plentiful. One disappointment is that the monthly rate was raised during covid when activities and dining were very limited. Other than that it's been a very positive experience.

Aldersly has gone downhill in the last year.. Inadequate staffing, and now the supplies are not adequate. For the past several weeks in extended care we have had very few gowns, face cloths, towels, etc. sometimes there are none. My husband has had to sleep in his knit shirts to keep warm. This is inexcusable especially considering the amount of money we pay monthly for his care.
