Affinity at Ramsey

We have only lived at Affinity a few months but are loving every aspect of being here. The staff are so friendly and helpful, providing assistance in every way, becoming involved in our day to day goings on as well as so many special activities. Halls and shared living spaces are always clean. Halls are quiet. The amenities are fantastic from the pool to the theater! And we especially appreciate the other residents who are so very welcoming and caring. This could very well be our forever home.

My parents have lived here for over two years. With new management they have been really happy as of late. My mom enjoys the new manager so much and feels valued as a resident. We're hopeful that with new management comes better snow and ice removal. Last year was completely dangerous and my mom fell. The rent is high but includes so many wonderful amenities and is close to many businesses and clinics with more going in soon.

If I listed all of the things that contribute to my five stars, I would write so much that you would stop reading. My wife and I spent a significant time deciding about moving to Affinity. We have been here 11 months. Hardly a day goes by that we do not say to one another, "I'm so glad we are here!" So let me see if I can summarize things. The staff are the most professional, kind, and helpful people. From the property manager, through the office help, the maintenance person, and the janitorial service. Wow! They are really the best. The cost of the lease is unquestionably reasonable. All utilities are included. (Wifi is super!) I sometimes wonder how they do it! The amenities are far better than I could have hoped. There are a wide variety of benefits that a leaser accrues because of negotiated deals with the surrounding businesses. The location is absolutely perfect. We are right across from the Ramsey Police. (Also our place to vote!) Every day I enjoy the aesthetics of the place. The majority of the tenants are some of the most pleasant people you could ever want to meet. We are, indeed, a community -- and that with help from Affinity and with our own intention. (Okay, I had to remove about four superlative paragraphs so I don't lose your attention.) Now, we all have problems in our lives. There are no magic pills to make everything great. But if anything comes close to a magic pill, it is Affinity. In fact, I can't believe I wrote that. It only just occurred to me. Please, contact them, arrange for a tour. You will be glad you did. I promise! Even if you don't move in. It will be helpful for you to know that such places are available. (Of course, it wouldn't hurt if you told them that Scott sent you!)

You can be as active as you please. I love to be active, so I get involved. Aqua, one mile walk, cards, Single Women group, help out with events,decorate. You can do as much or as little, whatever your comfort level is. Staff is friendly & very attentive & helpful. Wonderful residents and great companionship.
