Please refer to the earlier negative view posted 3 months ago by the name of Don Smith. I am the real Don Smith who actually lived at Affinity until January 2026 and am not the person who claimed to be me, fraudulently using my name when making claims about Affinity at Broadmoor being the worst place to live and having bad management. My relationship with the management there is very positive. They were easy to work with and most willing to help with any issues we presented to them. They have advised that we are most welcome to move back there at any time should we decide to do so.

I have been an Affinity resident for one year. I moved here to be close to my daughter, son-in-law, and my 3 1/2 year-old grandson. They enjoy visiting me here, especially the swimming pool. The residents at Affinity enjoy many amenities. After living in an apartment for the past 10 years I can testify that the camaraderie of the Affinity residents is much better. I feel like I’m part of a caring community.

My father-in-law was ripped off by this place. He has dementia and we gave management a letter from his doctor stating he needed to move into a memory care facility. Management stated he could be released from his lease without penalty. Months later we learned they continued charging him rent and refused to return it. In trying to communicate with them about this, they have been difficult to get ahold of and just keep passing us along to other people.

BED BUGS! Do not move here. My dad's place was infested soon after he moved in. Trust me, you don't want to have to deal with that. Over half of his belongings had to be thrown away and it took months to rid them from his place. Affinity was not very helpful with the removal process.
