I'm basing this on the crazy price they want: $16,000 a month. My LO needs no help showing, eating etc and just needs a safe place when they are confused. It was smaller and less impressive then other facilities I have toured - I have seen 10. While I understand what sets them apart is the montessori approach to interacting with residents - I did not see anything that was different then other facilities. The outside garden is beautiful, but small. Also, their parking is challenging at best and they have neighbors that, although they have parking to share - are intent on not cooperating. Small and unimpressive for the money. Meh

I’m using my husband’s account to write this review. My mother had a very difficult time last spring and we were so relieved she was able to join the community at Adelaide. The director is experienced, knowledgeable and professional, and the associates there working with my mother treat her with kindness, respect and compassion. They know her personality and share anecdotes about her with me, which makes such a difference. I have been extremely impressed with the attending physician there and the nursing staff, who provide excellent care, are proactive and very responsive. It is a huge relief to know they are looking out for my mother. The chef goes out of her way to please the residents with dishes they have requested. Every person working there is committed to giving the residents the best possible experience. I am so grateful that we found Adelaide at this point in my mother’s journey. Denise

We moved our dad to Adelaide a few months ago from another Assisted Living facility. Adelaide is only a few years old and thoughtfully designed for the specific needs of the community. The rooms are beautiful, and the common areas filled with natural light. We especially like the cafe and the outdoor area. The management is very knowledgeable about the social, emotional and medical needs of those with memory issues. They are dedicated, compassionate and always willing to "think out of the box". The attentiveness we were given during the intake process did not stop once our dad moved in. We are greeted by name every time we visit, and various members of management are always happy to give an update on how our dad is doing. We feel our dad is living exactly where he needs to be at this stage in his life. The fact that our dad is safe and is treated with dignity and respect at Adelaide is priceless. Furthermore, we are grateful for the partnership we have with the team at Adelaide. This is a stark contrast to the difficulties we had at the Assisted Living community our dad had previously lived.

When I saw Adelaide described as a luxury facility, I assumed that it would be unaffordable. In fact, Adelaide is less expensive than was the memory-care facility from which I moved my husband, and in every possible way, it's wonderful. The building is bright and beautiful. Especially impressive is the courtyard, where residents can enjoy time outdoors in a secure setting. Adelaide staff members communicate well with my husband and my family. I'm particularly grateful for the kindness, patience, and skill of Adrianna Alpaugh and Nick Boutourline. My husband is receiving the medical care he needs, and he is clean and well-groomed. At his previous facility, he never left his room. At Adelaide, he goes to the dining area for all three meals—a triumph!
