We love Abbotswood in Raleigh. It's the perfect place for able body adults who want to live independent lives. The staff is super friendly and easy to interact with if we have any questions. My mom enjoys her apartment and raves about the food and all the fun activities they plan. Highly recommend!!

Perfect for independent elderly folks. Not so great for people with extra needs. My mom required more care and there was great wait time when she pushed the call button. If your parent is abulatory or needs a walker only, it will be perfect. My mom struggled with getting up/walking long distances so it wasn’t a perfect fit. There are social activities & dinner gatherings where they get to see others in a respectful manner. $-expensive, need more staff for struggling elderly, inviting facility, friendly staff (we liked everyone, David Sexton is kind), fireplace downstairs, nice music playing, decorate downstairs for the holidays.

Abbotswood is a beautiful and caring community. My Mom is very happy living here and I know that she is very well taken care of. The staff members are very caring and really look to provide for all aspects of their residents needs. Their activities are always varied and well thought out. The food is very good and the servers are great. I highly recommend Abbotswood at Stonehenge.

My parents have called Abbotswood home for over a year. From the moment we stepped in we felt the family atmosphere, community, and connections that Abbotswood provides to their residents . My parents enjoy having the independence of their own apartment while benefiting from having three meals daily in the dining hall. They participate in a variety of activities and outings.They are supported by a professional yet loving staff. They feel safe, secure, and are loved. I highly recommend Abbotswood at Stonehenge.
