It’s fairly easy to become viewed as the senior living (industry) expert in your local area. Providing unbiased consumer information gives reporters the content they need to be “of service” to their viewers – on broadcast stations and their websites, in newspaper articles, and even on social media channels. We need your support to increase visibility of this incredible program.
Use this helpful information to assist you if you don’t currently have a media list of local reporters, bloggers or TV/radio personalities. Read these instructions carefully for the best chance for success.
If you’ve received publicity for your community in the past, start there. Contact the reporter who wrote the article or taped a video segment that may have aired on TV in your market.
If you decide to call a media rep with whom you have an existing relationship, remember to share that this is broad-based educational information about how consumers can live longer, healthier lives as they age. Tell them it’s unbiased and research-based. Using this verbiage should trigger some interest. Good luck.
