The old saying that the third time's a charm rings true with our choice of moving my mom to The Mansions at Alpharetta Assisted Living Home and Memory Care. After all the frustrations and disappointment with multiple assisted living homes, we found my mom's permanent home. From the beginning of the process to her move-in, Lauren went above and beyond to assist in any way possible to not only show us the facility, but on a Saturday, she showed up at the hospital with her nurse to make my mom's transition flawless. We had no idea that an assisted living facility could be so kind and accommodating. To top that, Stacy is incredible to engage with and her love of the residents really took me back. Every single staff member we have come in contact with has validated why we chose this place. The level of care and love is extremely evident. In addition, the Memory Care coordinator, John, seriously cares about all of the residents. He continues to amaze me and my mom with his talents. The residents thoroughly enjoy his daily time capsules, games, art projects, concert-worthy music (he's a trained opera singer), and his constant excitement to keep the residents engaged and happy. And let's not forget the helper dog, Elvis. Thank you, The Mansions. We have finally found an amazing home for mom!

Came with my coworkers for a volunteer event and we had a fantastic time. We played bingo with the residents for the afternoon and it was an absolute blast. Each and every one of the staff members was extremely kind and accommodating. Absolutely had a blast and can't wait to return for another volunteer event. The facility is well run and the staff cares. I would be happy to be a resident there or have any one of my family members become a resident.

I am emotional as I write this review, and this is unusual for me. The Mansions at Alpharetta is a special place, with extraordinary people. I have some experience with Assisted Living facilities. My parents and my wife’s parents have all passed, and three circumstances have involved slow declines. Aging is often not a pretty or delicate process. A dear friend made me his health care agent. I’m a retired lawyer, so I also assumed all of the other “delegations” for my friend too (financial POA; nominated Executor). Friend’s wife passed away 20 years ago and they had no children. Friend outlived everyone in his family. Friend was exceptionally healthy and active through age 100. Then he fell and broke a hip, and things declined rapidly. We needed to relocate Friend to an Assisted Living facility, and we were introduced to The Mansions at Alpharetta. At first this was not an easy choice for me. Other facilities were more convenient, and I knew my visits would be frequent. We liked the facility and the staff made a great first impression. Friend moved in. Our experience was superb. Comparing The Mansions with the (also very nice) assisted living facility in Roswell where my mother lived the last few years of her life is like comparing the Atlanta Braves (or NY Yankees) and a high school baseball team. A great assisted living culture begins with the management. Lauren Mueller, Stacy Holbrook and Cynthia Rholetter are wonderful and supremely capable. They staff with patient and caring people. Staff levels are proper for the needs of the residents. My Friend’s condition began to deteriorate (at this point Friend was 101 years old) and Lauren and Cynthia recommended we engage hospice. The timing was perfect, and their hospice recommendation Carvitas was amazing. Carvitas has at least one person on-site at The Mansions every day, which proved to be invaluable. Friend was called home last week, after a wonderful, healthy, long life. The Mansions allowed him to live the last six months of his life with dignity and joy. (Admittedly, some moments were messy, but they dealt with those moments with ease and respect.) We love this facility. It is a blessing to our community to have The Mansions available when assisted living resources are needed.

After our mother broke her hip and while she was in Rehab for 8 weeks, we knew as a family that her next step and chapter in her life was going to be assisted living. When you are looking for somewhere for your loved one to stay, it can be a struggle but from our first visit we knew this place was for our mom. After first talking with LaSondra on the phone , then meeting with Stacy and touring the facility, the sense of “ warm & fuzzy” prevails. Lauren and Cynthia have been instrumental in making sure our mom is being looked after with genuine and professional care and have a good and supportive team working with them. Everyone offers a helping hand when needed (Chef Terrell helped with setting up her TV’s , Ralph is the maintenance supervisor who seems to be good at many things). Having The Weston Group on-site to continue her PT / OT therapy is another value - added service for her personalized care. We are happy for our mom and know that she is in a safe, trustworthy, beautiful , caring place that she can call home.
