Shenandoah Senior Living

I am a local Girl Scout leader. My troop and I have enjoyed visiting the residents and their companionship. Kasey has put together great activities. We have laughed, smiled, played games, made crafts, chatted and spent time getting to know the residents. The staff is caring and compassionate.

I just want to thank Shenandoah senior living, for having the police come and take my dementia brother out of that gloomy place, I would share a picture of what he looked like ,, but I don’t want people to panic like I did, If you think anything of your family, get them out of there. Oh, Their going to make accusations, but think about it, I put him there , because he had dementia, He was their year and half, 3 directors, revolving door of staff, young girls that are not trained. It’s a blessing in disguise he’s at a wonderful place., good luck.

My granddaughter and I started making sweet’s during the pandemic and her and I continued making them. I was so pleased to stumble across a very cute little senior living home are in our backyard . The staff was so sweet and management was very friendly. We plan on continuing to make this our once a month drop off. It’s nice to see a caring staff for our seniors.

My mom was very happy in the beginning. But then things started to change, staff quit or got fired, leaving them short handed. When a flu broke out all the residents were made to stay in their rooms for days, not just the sick, but everyone. The meals were very small and not a balanced. My Mother became so unhappy , she requested that I find another facility for her. No I would not recommend Shenandoah Senior loving to anyone that cares about their loved one.
