I volunteered at this place once for a prom night event, and it was such an amazing experience! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, really going the extra mile to make sure everything ran smoothly. You could feel the genuine care they put into every detail, from the decorations to the food. The residents seemed to really enjoy the night, with plenty of laughs and smiles. It was clear they were having a good time and felt valued, and the whole evening had this warm, positive energy. It was a night that left a lasting impression on me—it was special, thoughtful, and heartwarming in every way.

No one plans to place a parent in MC or AL. Staff have made a difficult time in my family’s life exponentially easier. Staff continue to take the time to really get to know our loved one—not just their medical needs, but their personality, preferences, and history. That personal touch made all the difference. What stood out even more was the timely and personalized communication. We were kept in the loop regularly, and any concerns or changes were shared right away. Whether it was a health update or simply a story about their day, the communication is genuine and caring. From caregivers, to front office, to the director; everyone is hands on with the residents. You don’t often see this style of leading by example. But most importantly, the compassion and care shown by the team is evident. It's clear that every staff member is there for the right reasons. They treat residents with dignity, patience, and kindness—like family. Knowing our loved one is in such capable and loving hands has brought us immense peace of mind.

If you're looking for an assisted living or memory care home for yourself or a family member, you should consider Kauhale. Melissa and her team do a great job of providing a comfortable and caring home-like setting for their residents. It has all the amenities, but is small enough to feel cozy.
