Helena Pointe Senior Independent Living

My mom just moved into Helena Pointe Senior Living this week, and I already feel such a huge sense of relief. I went into this whole process scared and overwhelmed, not sure what we’d be able to find within her budget or whether she’d feel comfortable in a new place. From the very first conversation, every single person here has been warm, patient, and genuinely caring. It’s rare to walk into a place and immediately feel like people are on your side, but that’s exactly how it’s been. Even though we’re brand new, it’s clear this is a community that actually puts the residents first. The staff didn’t just tell us what to expect—they walked us through everything, made sure we understood the process, and treated my mom with so much kindness. That alone eased so much of my stress. You can’t fake the kind of sincerity they show. The amenities and services they offer are way more than I expected. The daily activities, the outings, meals, and even the transportation for medical appointments and shopping trips… it’s honestly a huge comfort knowing all of that is available to her. I can already tell these things are going to give her more connection, structure, and quality of life than she’s had in a long time. I was worried about this transition for awhile now, but Helena Pointe has exceeded what I hoped for. My mom feels welcomed, and I feel like she’s somewhere safe, supportive, and full of people who truly care about what they do. I’m incredibly grateful, and I would absolutely recommend this community to anyone looking for a place their loved one can thrive!

My mom recently moved into Helena Pointe and is thriving beyond our wildest dreams! She has her own 1 bedroom apartment that was recently renovated, extremely clean, and very easy for her to get around in. She has plenty of room for her favorite belongings and has turned it into such a cozy space. She loves spending time out on her private patio where we planted her some of her favorite flowers, marigolds. My husband and I ate lunch with her on her move in day and we were blown away by the cleanliness and level of service they provided. There are several options for each meal so there is truly something for everyone. All of the staff and other residents have been so friendly and welcoming, which is exactly what my mom needed to be able to come out of her shell and feel like she is part of a community. Her favorite activity so far is Bingo but they do offer quite the variety of activities...one of which was a fishing trip to Spring Meadow. I can't begin to count the amount of times my husband and I have said that we can't wait to turn 55 so we can move in, lol!! I'm so thankful for everyone at Helena Pointe for making this life changing transition such an easy one for my mom. They've not only changed her life, but our entire family's as well!

My aunt has been residing at this establishment for several months now, and aside from the sales department, I have never met a member of management. The apartment itself is beautiful, and the staff is great. We absolutely love Home Instead,that has an office in the building would highly recommend them. With the amount of money we are spending each month, one would think that the management team would be rather antsy to be meeting as many family members as possible. I did phone down to the assistant general manager when my aunt first arrived and he was so unwilling to assist us in any manner that we opted to wait for the sales manager to return to work to ask for help. That one had to do with the heater in her room smelling like it was leaking gas. The next day, when I called, the sales manager was all over it and had it shut down within a couple of hours and the other heater up and running. Come to find out, this had been an ongoing issue with that heater. To this day, the heater has never been fixed. Just shut off.

I have nothing but positive things to say so far regarding Hunter's Pointe. The recent remodel looks great and very updated. All the staff that we have met have been kind and helpful as we are getting my Mom settled in. The meals, while somewhat unexciting, are catered perfectly to the people who are eating them. The best recommendation I can give is that I would live here myself!
